Led by a team of highly-qualified teaching and support staff, our caring learning environment in Retford provides an inspiring and creative space for those all-important early years. 30 hours free child care

To support children and families in our local community, Bracken Lane Primary Academy offers up to 30 hours free childcare funding for 3 and 4 year olds within our nursery and foundation classroom.

All parents and carers who have children aged three and four are currently entitled to 15 hours a week free childcare – working parents may now be eligible for up to 30 hours a week.

This government-funded initiative provides great options for families to give your child more experience in an education setting before they begin their primary education. We currently have availability for children already with us to extend their hours, and for families looking to take full advantage of this funding by joining us for the full 30 hours.
