Last term, Michael Storey – one of our longest serving governors – stepped down from the academy committee.
Mr Storey was not only a governor at Bracken Lane but he was also a volunteer at Retford Oaks Academy, and played an important part in them joining the Diverse Academies Trust.
His voluntary work in Retford still benefits our students and pupils today. We wish him the best in all his future plans.
