Would you like to make a difference in your community? Volunteer as a governor

We are looking for people with new ideas and a fresh perspective to join our committed and friendly local academy committee.

Our governors are valued members of our team who make a real difference to the lives of young people.

You don’t need to have been a governor before. You’ll be joining a supportive and welcoming team, with training provided.

What does a governor do in our academies?

Governors actively make a difference in our local communities and have an important role to play in raising school standards. You will have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the education of children and young people in your community.

What can this do for you?

Volunteering as a governor is a great way to bolster your CV, share your skills and expertise, and make a real impact on how our academies meet their obligations.

In terms of personal reward and satisfaction, you’ll be doing something really special: making a positive impact on young people’s lives.

Want to find out more before you apply? We’d love to hear from you.
