On Wednesday 24 March 2021, we joined in with many local organisations and planted a fruit tree on our grounds, as part of the Hope Orchard initiative started by the Climate Action team at
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The initiative hopes to give our communities a healthy future to look forward to after the pandemic, and highlights the important link between the health of our planet with the health of the people who live on it.
We had a lovely day and can’t wait to watch our tree grow and start to bear fruit.
