Here at Bracken Lane, we are supporting efforts to support the Bassetlaw Food Bank. Due to some members of the public stockpiling, supplies are running low and the charity needs urgent items to support vulnerable families.

If parents/carers can help, items can be dropped at your local food bank which is located at:

Bassetlaw Foodbank, Unit E Buttermarket House, Exchange Street, Retford, DN22 6BP (Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm)

You can also drop items off at Morrisons (Idle Valley Road, East Retford)

They most urgently need:
-UHT milk
-Cereals
-Dilute squash
-Sugar
-Tinned cold meat (ham, corned beef)
-Tinned meat (curry, chilli)
-Tinned potatoes
-Stuffing
-Jam
-Washing powder
-Toilet rolls
-Hand soap
-Carrier bags

Unfortunately, they are not able to use items that are past their ‘use by date’.

Thank you for your support.
