SEN information

In This Section

Bracken Lane prides itself on its inclusive provision, which is widely respected in the local community.  All staff are committed to providing all children with the curriculum that they need, committed to equal opportunity for all.

Our SENCO and Inclusion Manager and the inclusion team work to ensure that the progress made by vulnerable children is focused on closing gaps and treating all children with dignity and respect, irrespective of any (dis)ability.

More information about provision for children with additional needs can be found below.  Please do not hesitate to make contact with the academy if you require any further help.

What is the Local Offer?

The Children and Families Act require all local authorities to publish information about provision in their area for children and young people from 0-25 who have special educational needs and disability (SEND) – a Local Offer.

The SEND Local Offer in Nottinghamshire aims to provide you with the information you may need, or want to know, about resources, services, support, activities and events for Nottinghamshire’s children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and their families.

You can find Nottinghamshire’s Local Offer here.

Academy SEN information report

This utilises the Nottinghamshire Local Offer to meet the needs of SEN pupils as determined by academy policy, and the provision that the academy is able to meet.
