We encourage all pupils to get involved in activities outside of their lessons; to enable them to try new things, meet new friends and develop new skills. We offer a number of free clubs that might interest your child, including:

  • Young Voices choir
  • Eco Warriors
  • country dancing
  • knitting

Young Voices

The Young Voices concert is now in its 22nd year.  The children become a part of the largest children’s choir in the world and have the chance to sing with around 5,000 other children at Sheffield Arena – creating memories that really will last a lifetime.

Each year we learn around 15 songs (some with dance moves!) and perform them to an audience of parents.  This is not always an easy job but the dedication and enthusiasm of our choir members is astounding.

Over the years, our children have performed with stars such as  Connie Talbot (Britain’s Got Talent), Stacey Solomon (X Factor), Lucy Spraggan (X Factor), Keith Semple (Pop Stars the Rivals – One True Voice), Laura Wright (the official singer for the national rugby team) and Urban Strides (a street dance crew).

This year (2019) we are very excited to be singing with Beau McDermot (Britain’s Got Talent) and Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet (we are not sure if the children or staff are more excited by this!).

You can find the dance videos for 2019 on the Young Voices website, and the lyrics to this year’s songs below.
